Just a thought, if you are talking about Sirius radio, just play it through the phone and problem solved. You also get the added benefit of no satellite compression since you are playing an Internet feed which. The sound quality is damn near perfect.

Gotcha. Although I drive a Ford and Sync doesn’t allow the phone to determine the ring tone. It let’s you choose the ring tone but it is the car ringing not the phone. Ironic actually because Sync is designed and built by Microsoft and yet Windows phone would not be able to perform this hack on that system.

If there is no Bluetooth connection it is literally impossible for that to happen. Even if you have an aux connection that’s only analog so no information can be sent to pause the other source.
