Can we get some stars over here???
Can we get some stars over here???
I want to thank Kotaku and all the other sites that are unrelenting in their coverage of this issue. With the amount of information you’ve given the public, I really think something is going to change this time.
Underrated best comment.
Jason Schreier’s next book is writing itself, it looks like.
There are a lot of identifiable current and former senior leadership in that top pic. No one in fall of 2013 holding a picture of Bill Cosby could possibly be confused about the message they were sending.
I think we’re going to see a lot of these assholes moving on to explore new opportunities, like sitting at home…
Same, I think I installed it and uninstalled it on launch day. Once I saw it was basically the Candy Crush “a few easy levels to start, then so difficult you practically have to pay to win” model I lost all interest.
mario run is a genuinely fantastic mario game.
Yeah, it feels like mobile games are some of the worst for preservation. Certainly, there’s all the online components squeezed in for monetization (and I do have to wonder if some companies are pulling games due to worry about the monetization being more closely scrutinized?)... and events to keep them fresh, for more…
I guess I’ve taken to just completely ignoring the mobile gaming space, but I had no idea this game even existed.
“If you’re in charge and something happens, you’re responsible. If you’re in charge and something doesn’t happen, you’re responsible.”
Yeah, this is some Robocop sorta distopia shit.
I started out really liking that game. I really wanted to find out what happened, but I lost my patience with that game when it would take me weeks to get enough resources to fulfil requests.
The last one I did was help a bear build a birdhouse, and it took 90 hardwood.
I don’t believe Nintendo has ever really done substantial DLC? I mean, they’re complete idiots with it and overcharge what they do give.
The items on your island need to be interactable. Bottom line.
You have a swing set and a slide on your island? Add Animations for using them.
It’s crazy the number of items they have, and have NEVER attempted to add even cursory elements of interactivity.
I feel like the type of person this thing would be meaningful for would literally not even think of platinum-ing a game and wouldn’t learn about this playing the game. They would never encounter this anywhere but on a website like Kotaku, which basically makes this a piece of trivia instead of a meaningful gameplay…
I’ve had my eye on this for a while, but chances are, I won’t pull the trigger: it’s the sort of thing that’s really impressively ambitious, and I love the various interfaces, and the aesthetic just in general... but just nothing I’ve heard about the gameplay convinces me it’s actually very fun. It all seems to be one…
is 99% completion really an “ADHD-distressing” thing?? i hardly ever hit 100% completion on games (or anything else tbh) because attention is a scarce resource and finishing things is hard
we are short staffed and have even more people leaving to a degree that covering the news surrounding all aspects of this is taking every resource. i am having convos with folks as we go but at the moment the plan is to continue covering relevant news with the appropriate context and tone, should it be newsworthy.…
this is what aim assist looks like....
