What a bunch of nerds, am I rite?

Its Nintendo we are talking about. Music is by far the least concerning thing.
I have no idea why this is here, but I love it.
This is so accurate
Doesn’t mean its not a joke, its just not as big of a joke of the next three.
A remake of Shadow of the Colossus definitely isn’t one of the six biggest announcements. We already have a remaster that, quite honestly, looks better than this.
Also known as Independiente de Avellaneda*
I’m constantly surprised by people getting angry at Nintendo shutting down these fan games. I get when people get upset about what’s going on with Youtube -I find it stupid as well- but with this kind of games its like, What the hell did you expect?
Billy, just wanted to give some context and information: Independiente, in the context of Latinoamerican soccer, is the way we call the much more historically important Club Atlético Independiente, or Independiente de Avellaneda, a club that has won 7 Copa Libertadores. Independiente de Rivadavia is usually referred…
Well you have a point. That doesn’t prove anything though. Its entirely possible that Nintendo was working on a Metroid 2 remake before they knew about AM2R and to be honest, even if they didn’t, they have every right to shut down that game and make a remake of their own.
More Xenoblade 2 and SM Odyssey, BotW DLC and new Kirby, Yoshi (these two look to be well into the late stages of development), Pokemon and Metroid (2) games, not to mention Fire Emblem Warriors, Arms and Splatoon 2, of wich we will see more gameplay, and Mario+Rabbids, wich is third party.
Ah, the old age argument against Nintendo for not making new IPs. Tell me, was Metroid Prime a new IP? Super Mario Galaxy a new IP? No? Ok. As long as they put out such great games I couldn’t care less wether they show new IPs or not.
AM2R was released just 10 months ago. I highly doubt they could have made this game and have a playable and stable enough version to show at E3 in such little time.
In the same line, it was so cool to see the creative director of Mario+Rabbids receiving such an applause from the crowd and recognition from Miyamoto. He looked genuinely happy and reliefed.
This was made by Ubisoft, not Nintendo. I’d be surprised if Nintendo had anything but some minor supervision of where this game was going to.
A PC with the same specs will be more expensive, and a PC that performs just as well as this console will be even more expensive, closing in on the thousand, as consoles are optimized for gaming and waste little resources in anything else. Its also much more likely for someone to already have a 4K TV rather than a 4K…
I wouldn’t go that far. They showed good stuff, but very little and only one truly exciting game.
I’m really disappointed. I’m sure the game will be amazing, but I really wanted to see the presentation of a new singleplayer RPG IP in the line of succesion that Baldur’s Gate, Kotor and Mass Effect has been, a new IP for the new generation of consoles. This looks nothing like it.
This game has so much sequel potential. I really hope Dylan doesn’t kill Mass Effect.
Sometimes I feel like the only reason its a 70 on metacritic (granted the ridiculous way the 0 to 100 scale works in videogames) is because of the hype machine that necessarily goes with anything Mass Effect related, and the bugs that ita launched with.
