While its true that carrying the ball is common in the NBA refs mostly allow it, Isaiah Thomas does get away with some ridiculous shit. He’s still impressive and a great player, but there are times he takes literally 3 to 4 steps wihtout dribbling, and he usually pushes up the during crossovers.

Soccer football always has these marginals decisions. If its plausible, even if not predominantly probable, the call is correct (even if its not the “more correct” call), in my eyes, and this case the case here.
