Intellectual perspective? Really? I actually consider myself a feminist (being a man, just want to make that clear so no one tries to “call me out”later) but her videos are nothing but getting facts wrong and not understanding art while spewing arrogance. Ocasionally she makes a good and completely obvious point like

Media is supposed to be controversial, its fucking point is to talk about actual conflicts and give opinions, even if it is about videogames or whatever. Youtube has just reduced itself to a dump of animal, fails and music videos. Hell, even music is a lot of times controversial. What do they think they are doing?

Well, yeah, but getting an Ares 90 takes like 150 hours and after that there isn’t too much game left anyway, so I don’t think that is a big issue. I mean, beating the super bosses in XC also required that same level of tinkering and investment in weapons, gems and arts (AP farming, especially, was a pain in the ass,)

I disagree with most of the things you said, I have to say. Subjudice already made a great post on TAY adressing the quests. As for the exploration and world, I think this is a very unfair criticism. Yes, the game level locks you out of certain areas but, What is wrong with that? It can have two effects: either you

Thank you! I might end up writing it. I just need a little bit more time, as I’m way too busy right now.

That statement by Takahashi was made about XCX, not Xenoblade, I think. I don’t know if you played XC, but it is very story focused as well, its just longer than the previous Xeno games. Gameplay is awesome, wich helps as well. I’d say that XC hit a great balance.

Reading comments from here and other parts of the internet shows that this is one of those hate it or love it kind of games. Wich is odd because I didn’t, but I guess its just because of my previous experience with XC.

I just got #FE as a present from a friend and I have to say that I am so gladly surprised. I haven’t been able to play much, just finished with the third dungeon, but the game is actually great. I thought I wasn’t going to like it (and didn’t think of buying it) because of, you know, the theme, but it ends up being a

A great game, but I have to say the original Xenoblade (one of my favorite games of all time) is better. I’m actually thinking about writing a post on the differences and what XC gets better than XCX and putting it on classic TAY, but I just don’t have the time right now. Maybe next month.

What you seem to ignore is that this isn’t a battle, it is law. One of the principles of every juridical system in the world is that our rights are protected by an impartial third party that solves conflicts. The reason nobody agrees with your idea is because it eliminates that third party.

If every football (or soccer) club or national would do this every time a player says shit like that, then there would be, literally (yes, literally), at least 30% less active players.

Oh I agree, Nintendo isn’t going to survive if their next generation isn’t succesful and they are close to becoming what SEGA is now. What I don’t agree with is this statement: “you listed a ton of negatives there that would probably have put out of business almost ANYONE BUT NINTENDO”. Nintendo isn’t surviving

The point I was trying to make wasn’t about the regular Nintendo critic, that criticizes bad decisions and so on (in other words, you), but about the Nintendo fan, that doesn’t mind about their terrible choices for hardware and such, but that makes a huge deal out of the extraordinary bad game from Nintendo and

Nobody says that Nintendo hasn’t made stupid choices. I said it myself in a comment in this same post.

Well, it has a bigger screen than the 2DS, like the 3DS XL, a C stick, wich is nice in some games, an integrated NFC reader for you amiibos (you can buy one separatedly for your 2DS) and, most importantly, it has a faster processor.

2DS is actually great. Its much cheaper and very comfortable. The only issue is that you don’t get the New3DS features, but if you are between a regular 3DS and 2DS then its a no brainer.

I remember a Jimquisition episode from a while back (a year or so, maybe more) where Jim complained about how terrible Nintendo fans are. They get consistently good or excellent, well designed, finished and working games developed with true care and knowledge of the trait and all they seem to know how to do is to

Its funny that in the home console thing, Sony is definitely the one with the most common sense while Nintendo does stupid shit, but on the handheld side of things Nintendo looks to understand everything and Sony is just retarded.

I had really low expectations, but I didn’t know Next Level Games were making this. Had I known, I would have had more confidence in this; they did a really good job with Punch Out and Luigi’s Mansion.

Wich game did you originally dislike, but after replaying it later you ended up enoying a lot?
