@KrautMcfriend: Tim Burton stopped ruling when he made Planet of the Apes. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was horrible. Even that singing hairdresser movie was misplaced. And Alice? Nothing more than a CGI-fest with Johnny Depp and some girl looking at blue screens.

The story with Sony:

@SillyWalker: There's no room on the disc. Forget about Zombie Mah-Jong too.

Does this mean SEGA will screw up the Yakuza franchise the same way they did with Sonic? They've certainly made a start by removing the uniqueness and feel of authenticity of their Yakuza games. What's next? Kiryu jumping through hoops and collecting rings? Can somebody please please please fire the person who came up

Tokyo's keisei liner has this feature although it's meant purely for making the seats always face in the direction the train is going.

@sandorasbox: Good point, but the eyetoy didn't really work. It's just a 2D motion detector, while kinect really analyzes a 3D room and recognizes you standing in it - even when you don't move. It even knows where your hands and your feet are.

Say what you will, but MS has a more original product, while Sony just copies the WII. The controllers even look exactly like a wiimote+nunchuk.

@ElephantFace: Yeah, the beginning. That's the part I never got past.

I never made it through the first few levels of the PS3 version. Just couldn't figure out which ledge I was supposed to jump to now, kept falling off everywhere and then needing to restart the whole bloody level for the 100th time - instead of just allowing you to retry that single failed jump.

@Kitsune sama: The strange thing is, those super-old pixel-style GTA's actually look better than GTAIII.

I hope they update the graphics engine. Even GTAIV looks a bit outdated, let alone these blocky things full of disappearing cars.

do you need an internet connection or does the app have local maps?

@TheFirstBardo: There weren't any sidequests or completionist activities, at least not in the first 65 hours of the game.

They probably realised that adding more one-way tunnels wouldn't really add something to their 'game'.

Ok apology accepted. Now make an album without autotune,

@idledpolkapeel: Still you have to give Apple credit for inventing a whole new way of interfacing with mobile devices. It took the competition more than 2 years to catch up - and by catching up I mean copying everything that Apple does.

I tried the iPad a few times, and although I really like the interface and especially the games, I can't really find an excuse to buy one. For a tablet the iPad is just too limiting. I want a tablet that runs like a netbook, allowing me not only to consume media but also be productive, to download anything I want and

@tech-tard: Maybe I'm not an experienced windows user - but isn't that the whole point? Even an unexperienced user should be able to download patches without descending into a bottomless download pandemonium.

@tech-tard: Well maybe you're right :-) My windows experiences are always horrible for some reason. For example, this weekend I tried to update win vista with a patch that should fix the broken windows mail program. I spent 4 hours downloading, getting errors, searching through lengthy and very technical support

@tech-tard: I'm sure you can spend hours customizing win7 to display better on a tablet, but it would have been nice if microsoft had already done that job for us.
