Not sure what movie theaters have to do with partying, but one should always respect / follow the rules when on someone else’s property - party or not.

What are the rules of sneaking food into a movie?
Ok? And?
I never said that anything happens "all the time."
15 per year isn’t zero, is it? I already pointed out that it is rare.
You can’t have an infant if there was no birth. Idiot.
According to the source article cited above, it does happen;
“The problem is that this isn’t actually a thing.”
Even by the complaining person’s account, the vegan woman made it clear she didn’t need them to make special accommodations for her. The control freak in the story seems to be the one obsessed and upset with another guest for providing for herself.
It was a multiple-day event.
I love how the people who spend their time being concerned and upset and going online to whine & complain about other people not eating meat / animal products are the ones who so often use the “grow up” argument. And I love the ridiculous “unless it’s a medical need” argument - as if they (the ones making this…
“It’s only for an evening”
“Someone who has dietary restrictions learns how to accomodate them.”
I didn’t say that it was the only container she brought, or that I think that it’s the only container she brought.
Also note that the OP has dismissed all of the replies to their comment. Lol.
I’ve had a family member offer me a Hawaiian (Canadian bacon & pineapple) pizza as “vegetarian.”
Yeah, obnoxious meat-eaters / anti-vegans* are far more common than obnoxious vegans (I live in Seattle, know many vegans, and have not once encountered an obnoxious preachy one) - both in person and online (as vegan-oriented articles on this site always seem to show in the comments).
Also, a lot of non-vegan people don’t really understand what vegan means.* It’s possible they simply looked at the menu and found some dishes that didn’t list meat as an ingredient and assumed that meant they were vegan. It’s also possible the vegan guest looked at the menu - and even contacted the restaurant directly…
Yeah, the OP’s argument here is a very common one - and also one of the most ridiculous.
Yeah, but if they already own containers I can see them not wanting to spend more just for one event for a former college roommate (especially since weddings already mean quite a bit of expense for guests, typically).
