Absolutely! There would have been no brawl without him. I’m also wondering where Eaton’s suspension is. Considering he started the whole thing, you would think he deserves something. If Ventura got 7 games for replying to Eaton, he should have at least gotten the same suspension as Cain.

I agree his emotions are out of control and he is not helping himself. Only one of these incidents is on him though (the one with Trout). The others were initiated by the other team and he should have walked away, but made the mistake of participating in, and furthering the confrontation.

It’s more accurate to say Ventura allowed himself to be goaded into a brawl by Eaton. You can clearly see Eaton yelling at Ventura right after the ball was fielded. That’s when Ventura yelled back and Eaton turned back from 1st. I think Eaton knew he could get Ventura to go off and get tossed.

I went to a lot of football games as a kid. Way more than I have in my adult life. Although, I went to way more baseball games, probably because there were way more opportunities in a baseball season.
