If you don't see it, that's okay...everyone else will.

No thank you on those shoes. Those are definitely not my style. I stick to my comment that patent leather is for tuxedos only. Also, you would never wear shoes with broguing with a tuxedo. You could get away with a cap toe, but that's about it.

Two pairs (black and brown/tan) make you attracted to men? Or do you mean two pairs of any type (dress, athletic, casual, sandals, etc)?

A tuxedo. That's it.

Do you think that men own women they marry? If I see a woman with a wedding ring on, I assume she's spoken for, not owned. Isn't that why we wear wedding rings? When women see my wedding ring I assume they think I'm spoken for, not owned.

You're presupposing that only men hit on women or commit crimes. How sexist of you.

Black belts in tae kwon do, jeet kune do, and hapkido. Sparring in class doesn't replicate real adrenaline. Real life situations give you real adrenaline.

Agreed. This is terrible advice. Groin strike are one of the easiest things to block and don't hurt that much if you have adrenaline going.

I had the opportunity to drive a bunch of vintage American cars a couple weeks ago for a documentary credit sequence. Closed roads and old cars is a great way to spend a couple of days.

We had some places that we really liked that required a certain caterer, bartender, etc. We found a place that we liked almost as much (and ended up liking more) that allowed any caterer, any bartender (at an hourly rate), allowed us to bring in our own alcohol, and cut the cake ourselves, for less than half the

I didn't say $10,000 was cheap. I said it was relatively inexpensive. If my wife and I made less money, we would have spent less on the wedding. I think it is important to keep you wedding within your budget. If you make $40,000 a year, you should not spend $10,000 on your wedding. That would be a large chunk of

We spent around $10,000 this spring for our wedding. That included everything (venues, food, open bar, dress, tux, DJ, etc.) It was quite nice and I can't think of anything that I would have added, so weddings can definitely be relatively inexpensive. I know people who have done them for even less (around $4,000

Depending on the couple, that could be very poor advice. I did the majority of the planning for my wedding. My wife doesn't have the best aesthetic eye so I did most of the flowers/decoration stuff along with the music. We collaborated on ceremony wording and vows, etc. She had final approval for her dress

Don't let yourself get upset if little things go wrong.

I also prefer WeddingWire. It was more customizable and the website was way better, especially with RSVP's and plus one's.

I think Art of Manliness covered sleeve rolling in the past. Either them or Dappered.com. Nothing on rolling sleeves inside though...that just seems strange.

This is only true if you never plan on wearing that shirt un-tucked. Your shirt should fall about half way down the zipper on your pants...so more around 4 inches or so. I hate seeing men at my office on a more casual day that have un-tucked shirts that are way too long.

When I get a new message, I just tap the notification badge at the bottom of the Facebook app. It then carousels to the messenger app. Are there even still email like messages? I haven't gotten one in ages. If I uninstalled the messenger app, would it revert the the old style? Not that I want to, I just think

Isn't that what it does now? When I select Messenger from the menu at the bottom of the Facebook app, it immediately opens the messenger app. Maybe this new system will keep me from having notification badges for new messages on both apps.

It annoys me when Hulu Plus doesn't have the entire current season. I wanted to start The Blacklist but they only have episode 8 or 9 to present. My solution was to just torrent all the episodes. Now going forward all of them will be automatically downloaded off the RSS, so it's no big deal to me, but they would
