You are correct. It is a a 2007 Saab 9-3. It has always been very reliable but it's almost to 160,000 and I'm just waiting for something to break.

I spend a lot of time in my car, so spending 30k to get leather heated seats, sport suspension, bluetooth, nice stereo, powerful engine, good milage, etc. is worth it to me. I understand that some people don't care about what they drive but many people do. I could not find a car to fit all of my needs and wants for…
If everyone followed your advice, there would be no new car sales that later translated to used cars.
This vintage looking one is great. I saw the chrome one on a Kia the other day and didn't know what it was. My brain was confused for a second since I thought it was an Optima but had a different badge. Both are better than the K-I-A one.
I did all my research online as to what I wanted (for my fiance), then went to a reputable Jewelry store and was able to get nearly the exact same thing for around the same price. Since I didn't have to pay to have a center diamond mounted in the setting, it actually came out $50 cheaper. The best thing is that the…
Wow, you get a lot of sleep. I go to bed around 1:00 am and get up around 5:30-5:45.
Two things:
I find having trouble sleeping a very strange thing. I know it happens to people though, since my fiance can't sleep without sleep medication, but I have only had trouble going to sleep 4 or 5 times in my life. I just go lay down in bed and fall asleep within about 5 minutes, then wake up when my alarm goes off. …
I usually eat breakfast/dinner while watching TV. Once finished with the meal I may watch a little while longer but only if there is something I genuinely want to watch. I also work out in front of the TV if I work out at home rather than the gym.
You're 40 and have no white undershirts? What do you wear under your dress shirts? I have almost no t-shirts other then white or grey. All v-neck. I but a new pack every two months and get rid of the old ones (the white ones at least...the grey's hang around much longer).
My 2001 did the same thing. Smoke, seized engine and coolant leaking all over the road without warning. I was happy to be rid of it, but less happy to buy a new car with no trade in.
I do a lot of acting/modeling on the side (stage, commercial, print) that adds about 20% to my income every year. The bad part is I end up working 70 hour (combined) weeks.
Almost no suit ever fits off the rack. All you need to do is get one that fits in the shoulders, then take it to your tailor. For jacket (sleeves and waist) and pants (hem) it usually only runs me $60-$70 on top of the cost of the suit.
Just figured out this must be the H&R Block building. Should have gotten a panorama that included Kauffman and the Sprint Center. I used to work down the street next to Nara.
P&L?
I keep getting error 3194. I have tried several fixes I found on Google (editing the host file and using tinyumbrella) but no luck. If anyone has any suggestions, they would be appreciated.
I have never had that much liquid cash. I have savings but most of my money is in investments for retirement.
I think we are on a different page. I get that you like doing work yourself and it is something you are passionate about, obviously. You can't do everything but do what you can or have time to do. I am saying that you don't need to be involved in the construction of something to enjoy it. Most people don't build…
Casting cylinder heads would presumably be like making a whole mother board from raw materials (I assume, I don't know much about engine fabrication). My point is that we all pay others to do the things we don't have the time, inclination, or desire to do. If this guy just wants a car to drive (like most consumers)…
While I understand your post, I don't understand why so many in this thread have a problem with someone buying something and paying someone else to work on it for them. That is what our whole economy is based on. I also work in IT and thankfully all the employees don't do their own production support or change…
