9/11/2001 was the day the flag became the US Military Flag and the anthem became the US Military Anthem. We can’t put that genie back.

Is it not Mintch Trubisky?
It’s pretty amazing how many people in Chicago think that there is an ‘n’ in Trubisky’s name.
I do think the protests are hurting. Just anecdotally I am shocked by the number of people who are in fact boycotting because of it. Do I think they are total idiots? God yes. But if I were the NFL I’d want idiots watching. They’re losing viewers on so many other fronts, why add another?
Man, that’s a lot of manpower and weaponry.
The evil chip stacking motherfuckers of whom you speak went to jail after they wrecked their country’s financial sector.
If the NFL crumbles from within because a 49er QB took a knee, I’ll be the smilingest motherfucker on the planet.
Fuck Jerry Jones. Fuck Donald Trump. And fuck the Cowboys. You ain’t America’s team anymore. That honor belongs to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
To be fair, there are evil chip stacking motherfuckers in Iceland too, and they were able to finance all the good stuff by selling out their banking system to hedge funds. Also to be fair, there’s a ton of great stuff bankrolled by the Kochs in New York.
Nope. Kansas has no Bjork.
That’s my point. Arena left Jóhansson off the roster. He doesn’t even get to wear USMNT branded waders on the bench.
This probably has a GREAT deal to do with how Iceland invested in after-school programs for teens to reduce drug and alcohol use, as described in this article from The Atlantic. They funded arts, music and athletic programs, all of which employed adults to teach and mentor the young people. Its success is nothing less…
The country of just 334,252 people as of the 2016 census—put another way, an entire nation with a smaller population than that of Wichita, Kansas
Poor Aron Jóhansson. He chose to play for the US despite growing up in Iceland, because he believed it was his only shot at a major international tournament. Then, he gets to see his home country become international darlings while he’s not even getting his feet wet playing in the Hex.
My totally wild-ass guess is that the school instigated this, and he honorably just admitted that he has failed and let them out of the of contract. Seems crazy in this day and age, but he does seem to have integrity and it would be hard for him to deny that he has failed the players and the school and is not earning…
It really bugs me that ESPN is taking criticism for this. This is EXACTLY the same thing as what happened to Schilling. If you all can’t see how rational conversation that isn’t political in any way and half-baked memes that are grounded in fiction aren’t the same damn thing, you all need to get your heads checked.
I honestly wonder how much of ESPN’s recent actions against Jemele Hill are partially motivated by ESPN trying to undercut the MESPN/too liberal narrative that some anti-ESPN conservative outlets (Clay Travis, FS1) are pushing.
Nope.
