I totally get it. Once I had hit my first wall I realized the same thing, there are too many variations in this kind of thing and I just don't have time for it at this age.

I won't lie, used a guide for a fair amount of Day of the Tentacle, but it was still highly enjoyable. It can get a bit complex as you are switching between three characters and you can trade items between them with a special time-bridging toilet.
Third semester of Grad school is a wrap! Definitely going to be working on some artwork as well as reading a ton. I finished Day of the Tentacle: Remastered which was outstanding and have been half-heartedly running through Kingdoms of Amalur which really doesn't get enough credit. The lore is interesting if not…
We most certainly received our copy from McDonald's and watched it many times. Perhaps, I will revisit it this evening as your notes brought back a lot of great memories of that film. It really does hold up well!
Ugh, that's even worse. I'm not a fan of sports, especially when they keep me from Kristen Bell and Ted Danson :(
I finally checked NBC's website to see why there hasn't been a new The Good Place in weeks. It's on hiatus until January 9th!!! Of course, I can wait, but considering the Netflix and Hulu models of distribution I wish that the Networks' could start adopting better production schedules so I don't have to play this…
I am almost done with Day of the Tentacle Remastered! What a fun game and it's giving me a hankering to continue on with other point and click games.
Their records are great, but they are an amazing live act. Last time I saw them was about 11 years ago in Toronto and that was an all electric set. The can hold a captive audience plugged or not, they'll always be one of my favorite bands.
Saw Yo La Tengo at the Old Town School of Folk Music! All acoustic and it was outstanding. Ira joked how he'd said all his wonderful anecdotes early at the 7pm show, but it was a beautiful and fluid set and banter didn't seem necessary. Everyone in there was a huge fan and the rare all acoustic set was enough to…
I was in my sophomore year at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. I walked into work early at University Archives, I remember it was a beautiful day. One of the archivists came up to me as I was doing some filing and said New York was under attack. I laughed a bit, maybe nervously, but was awaiting his punch…
If you're a fan of hack n' slash as well as RPG games I would say 'yes'. I remember someone describing it as a Zelda game with more attitude. Great dungeon crawler, good puzzles, challenging combat and an interesting story. The protagonists are both badass so far, both War and Death. Those of us that are fans of…
Finished Darksiders again, but on PC this time which made it look all the more spectacular. Immediately booted Darksiders II - Deathinitive Edition which is a lagging, weirdly lit crashing craphole of a slog compared to what I had originally played on the 360. Had to give up not just of the of the port crashing but…
Finished Stranger Things at 3:30am this morning and damn if that wasn't a fantastic surprise. It took me a few episodes to really sink in, but I was blown away by the cast and the story took a wonderful direction I wasn't expecting.
A lot of Black Tusk, they've quickly become one of my favorite groups. Monolord's: Empress Rising is perfectly warm and sludgy to follow up Tusk's heaviness. Also Electric Wizard and Baroness - Yellow, Green & Blue.
Andromeda Strain was one of my favorites. The original movie wasn't too bad either.
Thanks, that was fun!
Currently downloading Kentucky Route Zero episode 4!!!
Avoided picking up a shift tonight, even though any money would be good, however, now I have more game time.
I love to take Mr. Pokeylopes around introducing him to everyone. That animation of Raz holding the turtle is endlessly enjoyable.
Work is slow as hell so I have a four day weekend starting tomorrow. Avoiding the steam sale and playing my back catalogue. Haven't made much progress on either Castlevania:LoS or Wolfenstein:TNO. I stopped at the music box level on Castlevania and am a little stuck at the train bridge level where my gun just…
