Did someone hack Dowd's account? Or has this never actually been A.A. Dowd and I've been mis-attributing this whole time? This seems like the very last hill I would expect the otherwise open-minded and intelligent Film Editor to die on :/

I'm gonna take the easy route of being really, really, ridiculously good looking

Any scout major with half a heart surely will tell you my friend
Any minor scout that breaks apart falls together again

Tell me about it, I just quit last week! And just in time too—golly!

For er ah dinner, I would like a pawdy platter

Hey… Thanks.

I love legitimate theatre!

Well, heaven knows I'M miserable now

God, I loved this show way more than expected. My favorite Netflix original by far save for maybe Bojack, and even that does not have a single season anywhere near as strong as GLOW. I don't need to repeat what everyone else has said here, but the ensemble, the character growth, the tricky yet perfectly-realized tone,

No reason to think Keith wouldn't stay on as Ref even if Cherry left GLOW. He has an already established relationship with Sam, he clearly loves it and it's at least some sort of paycheck esp. with Cherry bringin in that series lead money

Stranger Things is pretty, fun as hell and features great performances, but the writing, nuance, and ensemble work on GLOW blows it out of the water quality-wise. So of course, it gets about 1/4 the buzz of ST

He did a really great job of starting off weak and jittery and gradually finding his voice, until by the end he was full-tilt charismatically yelling into the camera

As a 'punishment fits the crime' sentence, it was just that guy from the Fyre festival. But he was SUPER into it

"Great news! This is Rob, he's coming, and he's bringing his whole coven."

THANK you! I couldn't place him but looked so familiar

A wizard didn't do it

Illusion of Gaia! Loved that game. Didn't find out until much later it was a spiritual sequel to Soulblazer (pun very much intended), another action RPG favorite from childhood. Upon learning I HAD to download the rom for the third installment Terranigma which was never released in the US. It was also very good, but

YOU'RE both Loverboy!

This isn't a guy who built the railroads, here!

I absolutely could not pick a favorite one-hit wonder. There's just far too many, that are far too representative of their particular zeitgeist, for this anthropologically-minded culture wonk to decide on.
