One of them stood out as an asshole lobbyist on Veep too. Which is really saying something for a show almost 100% stocked with intentionally vicious asshole characters.

Whoa-oh
Amber is the color of your threat level
I keep telling you: he's 73 years old, and he's dead!
Exactly! Pecknold doesn't seem to shy away from talking about what he's been up to in the interim, and if it informed the album, great! But you don't have to project that context SO HARD before most people have a chance to listen to it. Let the music speak for itself—if the record does it's job, it's saying exactly…

I feel like Depression Cherry was them trying to go back to their relatively lo-fi and stripped-down roots (again, all relative with music this austere), but with a more expansive…
Seeing them open for Fleet Foxes at the Hollywood Bowl in September and cannot wait to get lit on wine and/or edibles and just bliss the fuck out under the stars (or at least the few that make it through the greater Los Angeles light pollution)
I dunno. They certainly have a very narrowly scoped sound, but I can still hear growth and exploration of that sound from album to album.
Mine too! The tension and release of the harmonized descending melody in the "off to nowhere" chorus is just sublime.
I don't HAVE to do anything!
Way to plant, hand!
I don't see what's so gay about a bunch of buff dudes in pastel cutoff man-jamas spraying foam all over each other.
