This white woman has been angry about police brutality/extrajudicial murders, rape, stupidity, religion, consumerism, war-for-profit, tax-evading rich people, homophobia, sexism, denial of healthcare, racism and uncomfortable shoes since (probably) before you were born. So, whatever.....they’d have a pretty hard time…

I haven’t gone out of my way to listen to a president/vice president speak in 4 years, and tonight I watched the whole thing from top to bottom. I can’t believe how much I enjoyed listening to them both speak, like really enjoyed it. I had forgotten what it feels like.

I think you touch on the issue here, but don’t really get into it in depth.

You will never, ever, ever, ever flip Trump voters. The best you can hope for is to get to young people before their brains harden in a Republican shape.

I agree. These hearings go on for hours. What kid, especially the younger ones, can sit through something like that? They’re clearly props designed to make her look good, and perhaps to stave off any potentially strongly-worded attacks.

It’s not entitlement, it's using the children as props. For conservatives, children only exist in so much as they relate to that person. She's using her children the same way her parents used her. They are props in her story. Just look at gaetz's "adopted" adult. 

OT, IMHO, it’s the less noted 62% of the white male vote of 2016 that drives Trump’s uncrackable base voters.
