I would also guess because of the easier access to alcohol for minors. Once you’re in international waters, the drinking age drops to 18. (ask me how I know)

incidentally, another body size issue I’ve come across is pedal placement with respect to foot size. I’m above average height but have very small feet. I’ve had rental cars where the pedals are placed too high for me to be able to rest my heel and also operate the pedals. Like literally my foot would slip underneath…

a lot of people (myself included) let something go too long because they’re scared/embarrassed.  Human psychology is weird.  Early detection/treatment is always better and yet ultimately I think a lot of us deep down truly think if we ignore something, it *might* go away.  Which actually is sometimes true.
