Well, Helena got pregnant in season 2, and she hasn't given birth yet. So from season 2 to now only 8-9 months have passed. And I would guess that all of season 1 took place in a few weeks at most. So on the show almost a year has passed since S1E1.

I suffered through seasons 1-2, but when season 3 aired I recorded them but told myself "Meh, maybe I won't watch them right away". And before I knew it the season was over, the show was cancelled, and I still had all of season 3 on my PVR. I told myself "Well, I'm a completist so I'll watch them, eventually."

You can't say "You are pro-rape. I doubt that you are." and then say "hey, I never called them pro-rape". That's like apologizing by saying "if you were offended then I'm sorry". That's not an apology - it you saying that the other person is at fault.

In this show I think she was Mrs. Carmody in name only - seemed very different from the novella/movie. In those her purpose was to be the antagonist for the heroes (besides the monsters outside) so she served her purpose well.
