What's the alternative - have Kara go through her whole life without a birth certificate? If committing fraud by creating a fake one is against your sensibilities, then she's not going to be able to have any sort of worthwhile life without it.

Any Superman/Supergirl story comes with the conceit that no one recognizes Kara as Supergirl when she has her glasses on. It's been that way since 1938. It's just something you have to accept.

Agreed. AoS has been getting better each season and a lot of the credit has to go to separating the season into 2-3 separate arcs instead of doing one big arc.
