What's the alternative - have Kara go through her whole life without a birth certificate? If committing fraud by creating a fake one is against your sensibilities, then she's not going to be able to have any sort of worthwhile life without it.

A glove slap to a little ole face will
Get you satisfaction.
Glove slap, baby!
Chief O'Brien(s): I hate temporal mechanics!
I really thought he was going to say "I'm going to save our sister."
You missed out. LoT season 2 was a big improvement from season 1, even without Snart. So much fun.
He got that from watching Shark Week. Watching that doesn't make you a nerd. A lot of people watch SW.

Nothing worked out for Harry Kim.
Any Superman/Supergirl story comes with the conceit that no one recognizes Kara as Supergirl when she has her glasses on. It's been that way since 1938. It's just something you have to accept.
Haven't seen the finale yet, but I'm assuming the writers specifically had the President say that she was not born on Earth in order for her either to (a) die during the invasion, or (b) step down after the invasion so she won't get impeached.
Your comment is very political.
"it is certainly the worst superhero show"
Haven't seen the finale yet, but I assume they'll deal with this *after* the alien invasion has been dealt with. When your planet is being invaded by a hostile alien force, that's not the time to start impeachment proceedings.
Agreed. AoS has been getting better each season and a lot of the credit has to go to separating the season into 2-3 separate arcs instead of doing one big arc. This past season with the Ghost Rider, LMD and Agents of HYDRA arcs has been awesome. Each arc is separate, but they each feed into the next one. Every…
There was a Voyager episode where the holographic Doctor discovered that the crew had erased a memory of his when there had been an explosion and he had two fatally injured patients: Ensign Paris and a random crewmember. They were both equally injured and he had to choose which one to treat first. He chose Paris…
Defeat the invading Daxamites first. Then when the Earth is saved you can begin impeachment proceedings.
It was funny the first time he used that excuse, and even funnier when he had to come up with another excuse and couldn't think of anything so he just re-used the "coward" excuse.
I haven't seen the finale yet, but the writers specifically made the president be an alien that was not born on Earth. I'm assuming her qualifications to remain president will come up again after the alien invasion has been defeated.
Considering lead is fatal to Daxamites, lead spray would one of the most effective weapons against them. Every DEO agent should have one.
First step in an invasion is to make your enemy fear you so they're less likely to fight back. Showing your might by easily killing a bunch of them is a good way to do that.
