Apologies if this is off topic and not exactly a mobile question...

I read an article recently that said that incognito/private browsing mode in a browser is the way to go for better privacy/security - thoughts?

Great post - I will definitely try a few of these...the trash bag one was my favorite

Absolutely - luckily I met my fiance' (a benefits/401k manager) who showed me that what I was doing wasn't going to work long term. I often look back and wish I had turned it around sooner - but I was at least relieved I did it at all.

Here's a tip I use for bacon grease - First off, I always cook bacon in the oven on a cookie sheet. Line the cookie sheet with foil. Cook the bacon & serve - but leave the tray of liquid grease for a few hours until it becomes solid. Once it's solid, simply peel off the foil coated with the grease and toss it -

Thanks for the reply Alan - I was asking myself that after I posted - Do I really need to know or care? I'm not sure it matters, but in a way its puzzling - perhaps since eBay/Amazon is 100% transparent on fees, this is somewhat of a different method to accept.

Hmmmm - unless they post a specific fee table, I'll hold off - seems somewhat vague on the website or what I'm looking for isn't easily found? Also looks like they are looking to sell your new, current used stuff like Gazelle does.

I agree and also thought of the Marshmallow study as well. If you have faced financial adversity in the past and/or haven't seen the positive effects of delayed gratification (saving), it's very hard to grasp. I was brought up with zero guidance on saving - any time I earned money my family would always say "what are

Besides my Intellivision video game when I was single digits, my first PC was bought in 1996 - it was an i486 IBM-PC "clone" as they were called back then. I bought a PC Shopper Mag and ordered it over the phone from some company on the west coast - I think I paid $1500 for it.

The lady in the white shirt that snatches it away from the girl is just terrible...

Splenda (sucralose) is in everything now (especially diet foods), and if its not you have the high fructose corn syrup in there, or sorbitol/maltitol. I was consuming a lot of splenda (mostly in coffee) and my nutritionist had me switch to Truvia instead. I noticed a bit of weight loss as well as a noticeable decrease

Thanks for making my day just a bit more sunny!

These shows are about as real as Wrestling is on TV.

WOW - thanks for this - I found it to be well written. I lost my brother in April and while reading this brought back some of the pain, but it also gave me some validation.

I don't live in the city, but I do live in PA and know many who do. I have heard that as far as taxes, its better to live in philly than commute into it for a job. This can make a big difference in your take home pay depending on the tax.

I was only somewhat aware of this case prior to reading this - I found it to be well written - thanks

How very cliche' - would have been cool if they had the pro dancer dressed even a bit like Kelly LeBrock from the movie - I can kinda see how Mr. Science could remind us of Anthony Michael Hall in a way though...

oooh #33 you are so benched for the next game!

ha ha ... talk about shooting yourself in the foot

Before and after photos would definitely help...but I can see points on both sides.
