EVs are coming.  It's just a matter of time.

Funny. I love to 2 jug rule.  The WEC has a 2 jug rule...sort of.  They limit energy use per stint.

VW will make money with the idBuzz. And if they get the pricing of the id7 right, they could do really well.

You can make a large sedan work with 3 kids for a while.

We’re not there yet.  But perilously close.

Ford will not bring it to the US because it would eat into sales of other Ford trucks.

This is a story the F1 doesn’t need right now.

If I buy one, I’ll wear a helmet.

Do the engines in these cars have the same oiling problems that other Hemis have?

So you need to tow something big and heavy and bought a vehicle that could do the job. Great.

The Truckification of the family car continues. Ridiculous.

There is room for a new car show, either on linear TV or stream.   I don’t know how anything new would be better than Top Gear in its prime.

I live near DC and I run summer tires almost all the time.  No point in giving up grip will all season tires when it only snows once every 3 years.

This should be easy to fix. Create a maximum front end height for all vehicles under 10000 pound.

Props to the Subie. My 2002 Wrx was always great in the sloppy snow we get here in DC...even when I had it lowered.

That’s all fine and good but when Honda or Toyota decide to make an electric Civic or Corolla, it will crush whatever Tesla has made.

It’s this kind of behavior that will lead to direct to consumer sales.

For EVs to take off, we need something around $30K.  Something like a EV Camry or Accord and build in the hundreds of thousands.

Ok...how much.  Not that I want one...just curious.

I think the main theme here is...”Stuff that doesn’t make the car work better but I (the owner) think is cool” in combination with bad taste influenced by social media.
