This is what makes motorsport fun.  I’m sure he got an advantage that no one anticipated and I’m sure the rulebook will change.  But this is what F1, WEC, Nascar, etc are missing...odd, silly but loud and fast.

And could find a job (union job!) that would pay enough to reward that hard work.

Would en EV with 750 miles of range stop people from whining about EVs and actually buy one?

So the old racing adage “The problem with the car is the nut behind the wheel” really tells the most of the story.

It’s hard to get a drivers license in many European counties due to the insurance and training requirements.

It’s funny how a driver with no nascar experience can come over and win in their first race. Yes, I’m talking about van Gisbergen in Chicago. It shows how limited Nascar drivers are.

Is the EV9 any good?

Another easy fix.

So if a driverless car detects that it’s going to be in a crash, does it drive to protect it’s passengers? Or does it drive to protect the most people?

Is it better to pay a few bucks more to buy a car locally...a car (and seller) you can see in person?

Now, new car are for rich people.  Just the way it is.

You’d think Mr. Musk (or his people) would look at the work culture of northern Europe and say “We better not mess with the unions there” and realize what a shitstorm fighting the unions would cause.  Just a little research would have done the job.

It’s simple physics.  The deforming (crumpling) absorbs energy so the people inside don’t have to.  Less energy absorbed deforming = more energy applied to the passengers (and other stuff in the truck).  Pretty simple.

New cars are now only for rich people.

Let’s watch the Tesla on an autocross course or a proper race track.

“I think it’s generally not good to have an adversarial relationship between one group at the company and another group,”

Perfect commuter car. It would be great for my commute.

I’m tired of people saying “No one needs a car with that much power.” It has nothing to do with need; It’s what some people want.

Yeah, the stunts and buffoon behavior was great but that’s only half of what made TGUK great. If you carefully watch and listen to the car reviews, you’ll notice how good Clarkson, Hammond and May were when describing the experience of driving cars.  Funny, sometimes vulgar, but you always got a really great idea what

Maybe I should invent a compact torch (that truckers can keep in their rig) specifically designed to cut through boots.
