Flat income tax is a way for the rich to pay less and the poor to pay more.
Since mass market car companies seem to care less and less about what we want, why don’t they make more manual transmission cars? Oh...I forget....they don’t break as often and are cheaper to maintain.
New Element to do list:
Seems like the Germans have figured out how to work with unions.
It seems like German auto makers don’t have too much trouble working with IG Metall, the auto workers union there. Auto workers in Germany make, on average, 67.14 per hour (including pay, benefits, etc.) while US workers make $37.77 per hours. And the German companies make more cars.
One problem is the way CEO benefits are taxed. It seems like all compensation should be taxed the same way. Base the tax on the current value of the stock when the stock options are made available.
Who says EVs aren’t cool.
As long as I can opt out...
1st gen WRX wagon. Really a 5 door hatch. 4WD 225 bhp, manual...under $27K in 2002. Can’t get that now.
Yeah, take the Prius prime powertrain and put it into something smaller and lighter...new Celica?
So let me get this straight. The Prius is built to carry 4, you have 4 people currently living in your house, and you need a bigger car with more range?
Someone else said it...more turns.
How is it that German auto workers never seem to go on strike?
If OEMs want to sell more EVs then they need to make a $25k to $28k EV.
I guess this isn’t designed for real work. Maybe it’s designed to take people to the golf course.
I get the ridiculousness of Elon’s comment and the reactions here but I have a different question.
I guess Republicans like this kind of socialism.
We must face the fact that new cars are now only for rich people.
Not bad...but way too much $.
