I bought the Blu-ray of this movie simply because the effects are awesome and it's great eye candy. I found myself getting up, going to the kitchen for food and doing other things around the house without pausing it. It is a pretty boring movie. I fast-forwarded to the final battle. Who the hell would want an extended

@ninjagin: Nah, I'd rather he suffer the same way he has caused suffering to others.

I wasted all of my "keep watching in hopes it will get better" credits on Dollhouse. Pass.

@bendizle: Did you see how excited he got when the power light turned on? Oh how I wish I could return to those innocent days of youth.

@tyler.derden: I guess bandanna wearing hipsters are totally unaware of those little things called children.

@collex: I can't disagree more.

@crosis101: When my fiance left I watched American Psycho. Boy did that cheer me up.

It would have been cooler if the bookcase spun around to reveal an underground panic room.

@houser: Sounds good. Can we add killer yams from outer space?

@Drummertist: I hear you and you're right. It's amazing the change of perspective on Gizmodo regarding Apple.

@Drummertist: Frankly I think it balances out against all the fluffer articles Apple got before the incident.

I'm waiting for World War Y where killer Yams from outer space attack.

Just wait till the on-set threats and "accidents" begin to happen. When I lived in L.A. and I made a crack about Scientology someone would always shush me while looking around as if someone could hear and would whisper, "you shouldn't talk like that around here."

Hopefully this is based on the design of the ceramic cup on Thinkgeek. I love it.

Does every whiteboard in every studio have a big VAMPIRE sticker they attach to every movie idea?

I'll give this guy one more chance to make a good movie (even though he doesn't really deserve it). I feel he is great at creating visuals but that doesn't make a good movie. Pacing and character development are important and this guy needs to really chill-out on his use of slow motion.

@tron88: You forgot lots of slow motion. LOTS. In real-time his movies are only 30 minutes long.

@twophrasebark: Well he couldn't use the words "magical" or brilliant" now could he?

This does bring up the discussion on the perception of "bad" cult movies. Previously their movies were low-budget and just bad which made people talk about them and repeat viewing increased leading to "cult" status.

@unsub3: I'm pretty sure this didn't cost much money.
