"Short me fifty cents, huh? Short me fifty cents?! I'll show him fifty cents with my chicken BALLS!"

We also recently got a speaking tour by prominent anti-vaxxer Sherri Tenpenny cancelled! People contacted the venues that had booked her and complained. They all cancelled. Success! The anti-vax crew in Australia has exploded with rage, which is even better because complaints to regulatory bodies took care of them…
"Hi, I'm Rob Lowe."
Yeah, from some anonymous arteest in Texas who goes by the handle "TheDecider43".
I would also like to nominate Team Jew for our more-or-less well-raised children. L'chaim!
Godless, heathen parent of a 13-year-old by and and a ten-year-old girl here. We are about as non-believing as you can get without being sanctimonious assholes.
I'm always a little creeped out by people who have way too much interest in the going ons of their alma mater. It is one thing to fondly regard the college you attended. But people who are super interested in student organizations, the minute dealings of faculty departments, or high school athletes being scouted by…
My favorite example is the Commercial Husband. That guy is a goddamn idiot.
Also, I would argue that they are in fact, very dumb. You might be educated, you might have multiple College degrees, you could have read fucking Ulysses in goddamn German while solving calculus equations, but if you choose to believe completely inaccurate and unscientific information because you feel you are right,…
OH MY GOD. I thought my first experience learning about the Holocaust was traumatic. I learned about it in kindergarten and my teacher used me as an example because I was the only Jewish kid in the class, then informed everyone that my grandparents were survivors. (They were - my grandpa was in Auschwitz and then got…
Oh yeah because the majority of people being threatened in rural America comes from Japanese Shinto thugs.
My favorite argumentative thing to say to highly religious people is this:
perfect. this is where i get to go all fox news and say,
I was raised by godless atheist culturally Jewish parents who also had a strange personal affinity for Greek and Russian Orthodox art and architecture. As a result, I was very religiously confused as a child. When I was little, we lived in Germany, where religion class was mandatory, although parents could opt out…
Over 70% of America identifies as Christian. When Odinists become the majority and try to enforce their beliefs via the US Government, I might feel differently.
if religion got out of the business of politics and morality-legislation (while being tax-free) i would be more on board with this... but the religious influence politics and make policies based on their religion that affect us all - as a non-believer, i don't tolerate that.
It's always nice to see some research dissing that "there's no good without God" bullshit. That's the worst. I was raised catholic, and still (mostly) am, but that sentiment always pissed me off. People are generally pretty decent, and no lack of belief in a deity is going to make someone into a murderer or a thief or…
I was raised in an atheist household (I'm 25 now), and I'm always surprised at how uncommon it is. I know lots of atheists, but all of them came to their atheism as teenagers or adults. I don't know anyone else with atheist parents.
