whatever your thoughts on the merits of actually doing it (and believe or not there are pros and cons) defund the police is a stupid, stupid slogan.

I thought the first Thor was pretty good. Chris looked stupid with his dyed beard, but generally the film was fun.

Why does he need a path back to the career he had before his misconduct became public? There are hundreds, hell thousands of people performing comedy across the country. Why does he get to resume his fame before we consider some (or all) of them for his slots?

But surely everyone was expecting Janet to come out of the bathroom stall, right? Especially after the comment about what a quiet lurker she is?

Too much tension and not enough pay off actually. Being left on the edge of your seat from start to finish of the episode and into next goddamn season is stretching things out too far.

He absolutely should be given credit as well. Stiller has a knack for getting humor out of the very dark and the very weird. He finds the funny in the bleakness.

Ben stiller Directed 6 of the 9 episodes, the first and last 3. I thought the camerawork and direction of the entire show was stellar, and thought he deserved to be mentioned in this review of the show.

Tax the churches.

Trying to differentiate themselves from the competition.

Encanto was very pretty movie that made no innovations, pushed no envelopes, tried nothing new, and will not stand the test of time.

Not every ham sandwich need be a ham and cheese. Smithfield ham does not want nor need cheese.

Outside of Ted Lasso, best AppleTV+ show so far. And honestly, maybe better than the last season of Ted Lasso. The cast is just fantastic, and the show is so weird but also awfully familiar for any office worker.

This is where I am too. I have student loan debt and forgiveness would benefit me. I don’t need it. I’m doing a lot better than people in my area. My income is significantly higher than the median for my town. I was able to go to college because I had a place to live and was able to commute. I worked two to three jobs

I found the shots when Marc is leaving the museum on the CCTV, and looking at the camera, with Steven looking back - shot-to-shot-to-shot-to-shot of the same actor staring at us, a masterclass... the hair is the same, the clothes are the same, but Oscar Isaac exuded such different energies as each character that it

What about for people who never had the opportunity to go in the first place because they were too poor or for whatever reason didn’t get the grades? Are they arseholes?

It’s more complicated than that.

That’s not even a good offensive joke

Leaving aside the “someone died for real” angle, it’s not even that good a joke.

This one is poorly laid out, at least in the provided photo. Cans of identical beans in front of two rows of different types of beans, tomato sauce buried behind some mediocre-looking identical cans of soup on the top shelf, and jars of pasta sauce behind two rows of salad dressing.

Similar to what I would frequently say when we were looking at houses: “this is the kitchen of someone who does not cook.” Not always because it was poorly laid out, usually because the oven or cooktop was just way to clean to have ever been used.
