Someone get Anya Taylor-Joy into a black wig stat.

Ana De Armas

The big problem here is that Gadot is ridiculously gorgeous, so you need to find someone who can credibly claim the Fairest of Them All title.  Not sure who those candidates are.  Chalamet?

Technically, we should note, this isn’t Godot’s first turn with Disney”

That looks like a still from a ‘Weekend at Bernie’s’ remake.

Not since they Herbed deadspin

It’s worth noting that Ohio is one of the most gerrymandered states out there. The legislature may be 64-35, but the state is more like 55-45 at most. In an equitable legislature, this bill goes nowhere, but now it’ll probably pass and go into law. Because Republicans have gerrymandered themselves a supermajority.

My take is that being limited to the stories that had already been told in the MCU was what killed it. The What If...? comic could always pull in any random character or event from any point in Marvel’s history, but the show was constrained to a much smaller set of characters and events, which meant none of the cameos

WE is literally playing the entire original series as we speak.  Season 19 currently.

Yeah, he rolled off of Burn Notice into a small but well-played role in Sicario, then what - one season of Fargo 4-5 years ago? I’m a fan of his off-kilter style (interesting that his most normal role was that Sicario CIA guy) and have been disappointed not to see him more often.

Excited for this. But also....

He was so good in Fargo season 2, shame he hasn't become this big name actor because I feel he has the talent for it.

It would be really interesting to have Tony Shalhoub come in as a perpetrator, essentially reversing their roles from “Mr. Monk and the Astronaut.”

That’s pretty much my thought. Apparently Troy Duffy’s a choadburger of epic proportions, so I’d put a twenty on that without thinking twice about it.

Good luck with that. Forcing something to become a franchise rarely turns out the way they want it to. If the demand is there, it’ll happen, but you can’t just speak that kind of success into existence.

as if “cool murder scenes” is the only thing that makes John Wick good and not the fact that it has an emotional and thematic depth that other action movies lack.

I saw the first one. I thought it was like watching a bunch of dudes killing each other in a high-end furniture catalog for reasons I couldn’t quite bring myself to care about.

The first one is basically just what would happen if the cast of Always Sunny become hitmen on accident. Did not need a sequel much less a third one

Yep.

Refocusing your eyes to see the sheen of PR — not as an aesthetic feature of this documentary, but as the text itself — will do wonders for your viewing experience.
