This is true. I think the misconception comes from the British press drawing caricatures of him at the time. History is written by the victors.

Good point. Lets do OECD countries only. Still better.
Not just the plate ruining the aero. But the entire front end was designed with a requirement that there has to be a space for a plate. If you remove that requirement, it gives the designers and engineers more freedom to improve aero.
+1 It is titles like this that make me love Jalopnik.
I grew up in the Philippines and organized chaos as Skinnayyyy said is how I would put it. And the drivers are amazing not in the sense of high speed control or politeness but amazing in centimeter adjustments in gridlock and knowing 100% the dimensions of their vehicle. On the road every square centimeter of space…
Your apology is accepted.
In the 8th century Kelly would have been beheaded.
Whenever you post a picture. I want to take a vacation.
Not all disabilities are visible. My dad used to have severe pain from his right knee walking. But you couldn't tell by watching him because he sucked it up and walked straight like a man. Just be thankful you can walk and let the people who have tags use the spots.

Ohhh this thought experiment is so hard! If a comet would hit my speed3 and I magically had 30K to spend... Crap.... FRS? NB Miata? But the ND is coming out! Used Cayman S? But the new one looks gorgeous.... So hard to decide! Okay gun to my head right now: NB Miata, then either ND or save a few more years for used…
I usually do what is recommended in this article when I am getting important instructions or an important piece of information.
Let's put it this way, when I was buying it the GTI was the only competition. The GTI was better in every way. But in the end I chose the speed3 because it was just more nuts. It is better because it is worse. It is the same reason Clarkson chose the ZR1 over the R8:
Hear, hear! And trust me, chicks dig a "smiling" car.
For what it is worth, I am not so naive to think that only "bad" people who deserve it get pulled over. And I have a feeling the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of United States is a lot less naive than I am.
Just because a judge has never experienced it doesn't mean he can't make a good decision on it right? Has he experienced a murder?
