Lake City.
That article doesn’t mention that other solutions (solution?) were tried. I remember this one almost guaranteed a scrape as you pushed in the larger button:
> Something shorter like a Smart Fortwo would have likely worked better there.
He’s the subject of this ballad:
Sen. Warnock’s plan helps with the down payment, which is an insurmountable hurdle for many. DASH providing a tax credit means it might not be fully realizable for those that don’t have a large enough tax liability as well. Though they could structure it with carryover to address that, but that would delay the benefit…
My wife lost a bet, which meant I could have flames put on her Freestar. I eventually balked at the cost, but my hotwheels obsessed sons would have loved it. Right up until their tween/teen years. :)
I wasn’t sure if that was a guess. I couldn’t find one listed anywhere. (I didn’t look exhaustively, but checked wildwood and google).
It’s worth noting that this is a Fender Custom Shop model, so it will be $4K at least. Double if you want them to “relic” it, but that probably won’t be an option since that wouldn’t align with the car (which the factory doesn’t pre-abuse for you). So +1 for a custom shop model that will be spared the belt sander.
Below is a picture to show how bad it was:
IMO, them recasting an EV as a high performance driver’s car, and not a quasi golf cart penalty-box was their greatest contribution.
That’s true for everyone working in assembly, but the whole exec level could become taxed as Texas residents. (as long as they become TX residents)
I was surprised too, though my last Ford experience was poor enough that I wouldn’t consider one.
I was going to make the same observation, but the google tells me that rangers can tow up to 7500 lbs. Maybe there are lighter trailers, but an aluminum featherlite 3-horse slant load is 4K lbs, leaving 3500 lbs for horses and gear. So not impossible, but I think there needs to be pony or two in the mix at least.
For those that want a link to the auction: (did I miss it?)
Stick-on fake scoops are an abomination.
Transfer cases with levers don’t need that. And even doing that is a challenge with 100% pavement operation.
In the first video, the truck stops with the wing roots well before the bridge. The later photo shows them (and wing exits) beyond the bridge. So amazingly, it looks like they did try to just pull harder.

A RTT also puts you sleeping in the parking area/lot. That might be the same as where you want your tent, but it might not be. But with a RTT, there is no choice.
