HD could get more power (and did in the v-rod) if they’d give up air cooling. I won’t even harp on pushrods, as GM has shown you can finesse giant power out of an engine with a long valvetrain in the LS series.

Title typo. “can” -> “cab”
I also have a boat I tow, though it’s only 20' long. 4WD is useful for launching and retrieving on boat ramps than can be steep and slippery.
I replaced a 2000 F250 diesel 6sp with a Tacoma, and I can see why people prefer larger trucks. The 3 benefits of the Tacoma are reliability, I can fit it in my garage, and I could get it with a manual.
But it is too softly sprung for a truck with a towing package, and the fuel economy is awful. I don’t drive it enough…
I’m sorry for your loss and wish you strength. The other reason you do it is because while this poor woman couldn’t bear the loss of three people in her life, her survivors now have to bear the loss of four. You survive so you’re not part of a growing snowball of despair.
I would just have someone (or yourself) check to make sure the condensate drain isn’t clogged. The reason to turn on the AC is that it dehumidifies the air, by condensing out moisture. If that water is sitting in with the AC coil because the drain was clogged, the air passing through could actually pick up moisture.
In most modern cars*, turning the heater to defrost setting turns on the AC automatically.
They used vacuum to lock them, but you could turn the knob to manually lock as well.
Spectra is also used for wakeboard tow ropes due to being low stretch. It should also make it safer for high loads, since there’s less strain energy in the rope.
Looks like it failed to meet reserve on ebay, but did see a lot of bids:
It’s interesting that you can see the author’s original title in the url, before that span feller bedazzles the title in the body into clickbait.
Not a car, but my Kawasaki ZX-14R feels like it’s trying to launch itself out from beneath me at anything above half throttle. Full leathers help, but I still wish for a bit of a step in the back of the seat.
The numbers don’t seem like it should have been that much of a step above my ZX-11D, but age may be a bit of a…
Even my wife’s 7/8 scale minivan the Mazda 5 is nice in the lowest trim level, and the lowest trim level also made it possible to have a minivan with a manual transmission! Three pedals ftw!
And while Biden references “trespassers in the White House,” this isn’t trespassing: How is ignoring an election and blocking transfer not a _much_ higher crime?
A great video explaining that dumb calculus approximation, and how it gets less dumb by using smaller and smaller “boxes”:
Note that there is a reason many of the car renovations shows (like Overhaulin’) start with disassembly and media blast. Instead of a dozen rustbuckets with bandaid fixes, maybe one with a concours renovation would be more satisfying?
I’m also in the rust belt, and mourn the loss of my F250 7.3L manual to rust with…
Can I suggest that he protested *during* the anthem, not the anthem itself? You said it that way in the text, so perhaps it was copy edited in the title?
Reading the document, the best part is “hereinafter “Bubba””, and we learn he drove a pickup with confederate flag in the back window.
The taillight king shows vintage Marmon taillamps with amber. I couldn’t find an image of a car with those on it, but he definitely seems like your type of royalty:
“Teenager?” Well doesn’t that sound innocent.
