I was thinking in that scene that after Negan told Daryl the whole story of how he brought Dwight over to his side to be his top man, he was going to whomp Dwight upside (and downside) the head with Lucille. That would show Daryl who is truly king, and show us viewers that Negan is truly terrifying.
