Honestly, this is a pretty great list. My only major quibbles are Dune and AI. Even as a big Lynch fan (and who isn’t these days?), Dune is a mess and AI is just pretty average.

Paul Thomas Anderson, anyone? Visually, there are a couple of comic book artists whose stuff I will always buy, too. I’d probably pick up a J.H. Williams comic even if it was written as a collaboration between Scott Lobdell, Jeph Loeb, Geoff Johns, and Mark Millar.

It seems like Summer’s line at the end was a meta-joke about Harmon and Roiland, but wouldn’t it be cool if it wasn’t a throwaway and Summer is actually working for a galactic power greater than the Council of Ricks and is tasked with keeping this timeline’s Rick and Morty on track as a cog in a larger plan?

It seems like only conservatives who are jerks have a hard time. People don’t want to work with jerks.

I think Cronos, The Devil’s Backbone, the first Hellboy, and Pan’s Labyrinth are all great. I don’t know if any of his films are outright “misses,” either. They’re always enjoyable even if they’re sometimes a little flat/hollow.

The way that a priest interprets that gospel reading is a big litmus test for me. The current guy at my church tried to claim it was a metaphor for some tricky rock formation near Jerusalem and so on.... I’m not a big fan.

It honestly really makes me sad to see the site look this... generic. Well done, Mark_Bowen, though.
