I enjoyed the Flight Attendant and will be watching Season 2, but agreed that she makes it hard to like her. But I have found that to be true about everything she has ever been in, so I just thought it was more indicative of her charisma than the characters she is given.

I found his yelling more unsettling than the slap itself, but it was by no means traumatic. 

Why would you joke about a woman being killed, but Will Smith smacking Chris Rock has you traumatized for days, when you weren’t even on stage when it happened?

Leaving aside the “someone died for real” angle, it’s not even that good a joke. 

The movie itself was meh, but the two post-credit scenes were some of the most ham-handed, nonsensical, cynical, marketing-driven scenes viewed on screen.

In total fairness, he (and many other celebs, to be completely fair) could just do the Daniel Radcliffe thing of saying “Look, I don’t think my opinion on that really matters.”
