2019 owner here first of all the Grom is fast enough to not get stuck between a bus and a texting driver (couldn’t say that about 50cc scooters like the ruckus) I think your commute would be fine. As for mpg... Your basically always hooning it, the bike lives it’s entire life at wide open throttle and it still gets 100…

Its steep and you really need to pick your line correctly. Yes it's been done a million times but it's certainly intimidating. I've been to hells gate 3 times and never seen anyone do it. Not saying it's impossible

Either. Both? A 2 stroke will likely be even lighter weight which is a a huge plus but I personally like a 4 strokes ability to chug at low rpms over gnarly stuff. #tractormode
