Actually my stove doubles as a convention oven. I used to have a toastmaster ultra vection oven that a friend bought me from an infomercial onetime when we were drunk thinking it would be funny. I ended up loving that thing, it reheated pizza so well it was better than when it was delivered. It cooked everything super

I live by Alton's rule. I've even gone as far as getting rid of the toaster. I make toast on a flat skillet. It takes a bit longer and requires more attention than a pop-up toaster, but saves me literally half my counter space by not having one.

Nice, most stuff looks Prime Eligible. I tried to order a dresser from Ikea online last month. The dresser was $100, deliver charge would have been $99 for an un-assembled dresser. I decided to just drive there and buy it.

I haven't played this since it was a mod about 4 years ago, but I remember it being fairly linear. Sure you could wander off the path, but not very far before reaching a cliff or water. It certainly didn't encourage you to seek alternate paths and I think most people understood it wasn't that kind of "game".

It's not a game, don't even attempt to approach it as one. The closest thing I could relate it too is probably an audio book of a very short story. That being said I played the mod about 4 years ago and it has stuck with me to this day. It's an amazing experience that I think everyone should take a chance on. Truly a

I hate shots, but I'd rather take a shot than try to swallow those horse pills with strep throat. I used to get it a lot as a kid and that always sucked.

Ah you don't really want to go on VDay anyways. It's like mothers day and new years, every restaurant has a crappy prix fixed menu and doubles their prices.

Woah, quickPicks, thanks LifeHacker I've been stumped as to how I got $14 off an item I bought on amazon yesterday. I couldn't find anything on the invoice that explained what the discount was for and I had no other gift card balance or anything that could have caused it. It just said -14.00 (discount)

If that was the reason for banning cannon balls it would means they'd also have to ban billiard balls, door knobs and even oranges as well. I think it's more because cannon balls were often packed with TNT.

Hey wait a minute... Nice try TSA.

It's definitely against Comcast's TOS. That's my ISP as well, I considered moving a site I used to host off bluehost onto an old desktop I had laying around. Since it was low bandwidth and I was mostly just using it as a file server I thought I'd save a few bucks and host from home. I decided to check their TOS just

This is also technically against most ISP's TOS so be aware someday they might start blocking all your traffic or worse yet try to tack on some extra fees to your bill. I don't think many of them actively patrol that stuff though.

As someone who grew up in a boring suburban neighborhood and hung around with lots of degenerates, I'd say some asshole spray painted him.

Let's not forget how insecure all other forms of payment are.

Very cool, would have been life changing a decade ago, but still a neat tool to keep in the back pocket. I only need to print something about once a year these days, but I'll be dammed if it's not a pain in the butt to get it to work.

I always assumed it was Kenny from south park.

The lesson to be learned is to avoid girls who tear off their entire eyebrows only to draw them back in with pencil. It's the first thing I'll be teaching my children.

I used to use a controller and mouse with UT-99 on PC. In my left hand I'd just use the controller pad for movement, jumping with the trigger and the mouse for aiming shooting. It worked pretty well until I started getting good enough to play elite players. At that point dodging with the controller by hitting

Can we petition to make ESDF the standard? First thing I do to any PC game is immediately change the movement bindings from WASD to ESDF. It maximizes the number of available keys by giving you easy access to Q, A, Z with your pinky as well as still being able to hit Tab, Caps, and Shift with it.

Woah so weird. I totally forgot about this song despite the fact that I had a random urge to listen to Sea Change this week and did so. Event that didn't trigger the memory of this amazing tune. I always thought Flight of the Conchords took some inspiration from this.
