I think it’s supposed to be... it’s intended (in my opinion) to make the viewer think about the way celebrities’ bodies are consumed. Putting them in the vulnerable setting of being in bed sleeping forces us to confront them as actual people, rather than things to be consumed.
It’s not like the tobacco industry is something it’s ethical to support.
Actually, I would think she would have a lot to base her argument on. She was a sex symbol willingly and profitably and has a relationship history with a number of guys who were into porn. That life history can research the long-term impact of porn better than any research project. People can come to regret things…
