Jalopnik is broken!

I have an R9T. Made me wonder why I didn’t try a BMW before. Not as nimble as my m696 daily rider in dense SF traffic, but fantastic on the highway and open road. Mods aren’t easy to come by, and it definitely can use some sort of windscreen for long rides and shorter bars, but its slowly getting better.

So much this. The every day rider who is looking at realistic practical reasons is probably not riding an HD (too expensive) or a super street (not practical). More than likely you’re looking at standards, dual-sport, or naked street bikes. Sport tourers if you’re rich.

Also, you NEED to do a “Nice Price of Crack Pipe” for motorcycles. Because we all know there are some wacky / sweet bikes out there in craigslist and ebay that we must weigh in on.

The R9T is one of the few bikes that gets my blood flowing... Okay, the older S4Rs and 1098s Streetfighter still do, but as for currently sold bikes, it’s really just the R9T. I still love the Ducati exhaust note, but the new ones look too clunky and are too techno-reliant now.

As an owner of an FZ-09, the bike is Cuckoo, it is faster than most bikes 0-60 and has faster 1/4mile times than some of the big liter bikes.
