And thus ends the “jeah” era of US swimming.

It’s a rabbit hole... Ask me how I know.
Don't feed the troll
The head line got me until I saw Colin’s face. His channel is fantastic, and he’s certifiably nuts. Which is the same thing as awesome.
One might argue, both candidates are memes...
I’m totally adding that anecdote to my Jeff Van Gundy drives an accord story file.
I can’t speak for the person you responded to but my 64 Falcon started life as a straight 6 with a 3 spd. (3 on the tree)
Glad Dikembe’s motivational program is being used by our Olympians.
Some others have pointed out, it’s Grosjeans contract that was only for this season. Odds are they’d be offering Grosjeans seat to Rossi if this is even remotely true.
No offense, but it’s the juiciest quote in the entire article (my opinion of course).
Agreed. Someone else pointed out TR as well. If that seat gets offered to him it’s surely the best he can do in current F1. And that’s a legit stepping stone to a top level team.
I’m not against a TR seat for Rossi. I’d live for him to drive for an American team but in the end, as I said elsewhere, Rossi should certainly do what's best for Rossi. And if TR offered him a full time seat I can't imagine a better scenario.
Absolutely. Regardless, I hope Rossi does what’s best for him. I think he’s earned that. But secretly, I want him to go to Haas. I really think the could help draw more fans into the sport.
The money issue is huge. The only way to solve that is to go back to a simpler power plant (manufacturers have said no to this) or to take aero away from the cars. And the old crotchety higher ups like Bernie say that removing aero from the car removes the soul from the sport...
You totally missed the best quote from Autosport:
I don’t disagree with you, but there is a prevailing argument that the manufacturers would vacate F1 if there was no longer a benefit to them. And the current “rules’ are meant to satisfy the manufacturers wants/needs. Whether that’s true can be debated ad nauseam. Point being, without the manufacturers we get Indycar…
Current era aero is miles ahead of mid-2000's. Those track records are 100% due to good old fashion horsepower. Glorious, glorious engines screaming around the circuits. (And yes, safety as well as some other limiting factors like fuel consumption, tires, ect also contribute)
Not only that, but you’re only allowed to hit the ball with one side of the stick...
This might be the best Kinja thread I’ve seen all year.
Going back through these posts is worth it for the comment section alone. Sean’s Apple Watch post has some really good stuff.
