Chicago might be my favorite city in the US. LA is amazing. NYC is pretty cool, same with Boston and Philly. But Detroit is my home. I don't know why people have to rag on it because it's not on the same level as those cities. We're not the best but we're not trying to be.

Young people are taking over midtown, it's pretty cool to see. It'll be a while before families start moving to Detroit, but it's starting with young artists and musicians.

Move on now, right as positive things are happening? No. The city is turning around in big and small ways, a lot of which are not visible unless you're here. So no, I'm not going to move on just because most people think we're a dirty, gritty, nasty city. We are, but I don't care what you think.
