That’s the part that really gets me too - they’re sharing info about his life and his medical situation that they have no right to share.  Doing so isn’t in his best interest, it’s just in theirs, because they want to make sure that no one thinks badly of them.  They’re clearly not equipped to be good parents to him,

This ‘family as performance’ shit is angering in ways I cannot reasonably put into words using my mushy quarantine brain.

A few things to add color to the discussion:

Why should Gabrielle Union have to point out that Simon Cowell smoking indoors is a problem? The show decided Cowell is their cash cow and put everyone’s health at risk to appease him. The show was willing to break state and federal laws for Cowell. That’s a slam dunk workplace injury lawsuit right there. I fully

Smoking on the set? WTF? I love GU and am glad she’s calling out the casual racism and sexism that privileged white dudes get away with on the regular, not to mention the fucking stone cold narcissism of knowingly breaking a law and not giving a rat’s ass about other people.

Twitter/Jack Dorsey have been absolutely appalling in their response to this. Her grieving parents and widower are being re-traumatized while twitter shrugs . It is disgusting that Trump gets to use his power to manipulate her memory, meanwhile those who actually have a claim to her memory stand by helplessly.

They’re allowed to be open, and they are open. They are also allowed to set their own store hours and rules, like no beverages in the store, so what’s the problem here Scott?

For the umpteenth time, J Crew is not shutting down. It filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, i.e., reorganization, toward the goal of restructuring debt and staying in business. Every time you guys post about a business’s bankruptcy, you assume it automatically means going out of business (which would be Chapter 7). And

Lana is introspective and downtempo and not pop per se, so she is not necessarily ever going to have those #1 hits

She really did not need to name these people  in her little rant. She should just focus on her music instead of this “it’s not fair! why do they get to sing about sex and I just want to sing about lexapro and I get criticized” As if all of those women don’t get criticized for the content of their music too.

Could it be... McConnell??

This was an aborted lynching. I’m glad the Shepards are alive.

So they got together an armed lynch mob and terrorized this woman because they thought some guy *might* live there and when they found out he didn’t and the actual police arrived, nobody was arrested even though they brought weapons to the scene and tried to force their way into her home.

There is definitely beauty to this show, but if I’m being honest, by the fifth episode I was bored shitless. There was no real reason these two white heterosexual college kids couldn’t just be together. They dragged on the unnecessary “drama” for too long and the sullen emo-ness started to get to me.

Sounds like a planned lynching.

Roy Horn really wore the hell out of leather jeans.

I fucking LOVE my giant cast iron I got from Cravings at Target. Seriously, I use that damned thing every day and I got it on some wild sale (so, under $20!). I’ve had it for months and months and it is still chugging along great, despite me not properly taking care of any cast iron thing any time. It tolerates my

He won’t have to.  The state of California already said no.  Birth certificates cannot have numbers, nor can the state systems support the Ash character.

“The tests are perfect,” he said, “but something can happen between a test where it’s good and then something happens and all of a sudden ... today I guess for some reason she tested positive.”

Your daily reminder that we’re all in this together.
