I liked “The Killing Joke” as well as “Joker” graphic novel.  I’m pretty stoked to see how they play the elements of this story, especially the driving Gordon to madness angle (if they add that piece, they’ve got to, right?!?)

“Sunday Morning” is my ish, so....

to be fair, I see more remember 9/11 posts from black folks than i do remember 9/15.  I don’t think i saw one this year from blacks.  Except this one to point out that trump didn’t honor what we as a people don’t really honor.

Exactly. This was her moment and the boos, hooplah, etc would be disheartening for anyone (whose the thief now).  She won fair and square.  Hopefully we’ll see a lot more of her earning and accepting awards.  

Osaka was sad to see that her idol was human, I think, and more specifically because of the crowd booing. Projecting all of these social issues makes a good, lucrative blog post perhaps (I would say story, but I don’t believe it’s a particularly interesting story in this regard).

Don’t feel bad.  I’ve heard of her, had her as a sponsored artist for an event promoting a concert app I was a part of, have associates who’ve raved about her. Never heard one song. But I know her politics and sexuality.  So there you go.

I think Serena is getting caught up in her own myth. I think it’s interesting to see a possible changing of the guard in tennis as Federer and Williams age out. She had a bad day and I’m sure had a regrettable reaction/defense. Hope she get’s that 24th Grand Slam and exits with grace and dignity.
