these posts used to be very popular amongst black women. i’d say from 2009 - 2014 Facebook would be ALL “thanks to my mom for being my dad” etc. glad they’ve been replaced with “mother’s day is for me, let the fathers have their day”

Similar story here and have also been fighting ever since, and loathe the idea of having to go back to such an environment. Would love to here what entity you are currently associated with.
Would this be the difference between gentrifying and integrating?

Kendricks Damn, Jay-Z 4:44 and Nas Nasir Last albums in the past 12 months that will stand the test of relevance and are good albums in hip hop.
I assume (non-academically) that Jesus is a mix of Juno and Zeus, for the Roman and Greek gods, respectively.
“Like she told you sell ass, no, Minaj did that so hopefully you wouldnt have to go through that...”
wait, who here considers, Nicki “light skin”
See, I don’t think I buy into the different era argument. At the end of the day maybe I judge based on the impact that one has in the era they are in. The Jordan rules, widening the lane for Russell, then Chamberlain, etc. Players who impacted the game itself in a way that changed the game to create the new era we see…
not playing in the same way? like different positions?
nah, i was surprised too when my social media lit up with, “i feel like ive been punched in the gut”.
I hear you, man. Hell, I was on Canibus side until my barber mentioned the “99% of your fans don’t exist” line. Ice, f’in cold.
In the history of rap I think KRS can say he beat Shan, Kool Moe can say he beat Busy Bee, IceCube can say he beat NWA and LL beat Canibus. Everything else is nowhere near unanimous or important enough to be more than some back and forth records before bullshit got in the way.
Or if you need it from someone from a younger generation, take Frank Ocean...
Perhaps we learn from the past.
So this is basically Jay Z at summer jam with Prodigy and Nas type battle? Ok, history repeats itself with less interesting combatants.
#7 reminds me of listening to Watch The Throne where Kanye’s main contribution to the album is sex, sex and more sex. It was off putting then and is off putting now. Anyway, I thought the album is his worst. Easily forgettable.
Nevermind, just saw the National Enquirer article where this came from. To the left you can see the plate and dope cooking spoons for free-basing. Definitely drug covered. Carry on.
