I genuinely enjoyed it. But to each their own.

Hard disagree on Aaron Rodgers. The guy has no cadence. His speaking style is completely monotone, while he emotes mostly with his face. Considering you see the contestants more than the host, this doesn’t work.
And just like that, they’ve come full circle. RIP Google Reader.
Wow, that headline could not have been more misleading. I came in here thinking “maybe his comment was just taken out of context”.
Turns out what Donald Glover said was not only taken out of context, it was COMPLETELY misrepresented.
Come on.
Powered drain augers are really a must-have if you’re a homeowner. Home Depot sells one from Ryobi that uses the same battery system as all of their other stuff for about $70. That’s less than the price of calling a plumber, and you can use it for every clog for years. It’ll pay for itself if you use it at least twice.
Get a powered drain auger. Remove the drain cap on the wall of the tub, not the floor. Run your auger through there and voila.
As long as you can test drive the car and see the Carfax, buying from an online car seller is way better than dealing with salespeople. I would never buy a car sight-unseen.
Take it one step further. If you have window AC units, put one on a smart plug. Set up a routine in Alexa to kick on the AC when the temperature rises above a certain point.
I was offered the vaccine through work and you’re damn right I accepted, for the exact reasons you stated. I can’t control who it goes to if I decline. And the vaccine is only effective when mostly everybody gets it. Might as well get it out of the way early if I can.
We keep a list on the fridge of about 15 different easy-to-make recipes. Panko/pesto chicken, burrito bowls, instant pot soup/stew, etc. On grocery night we just look at the list and pick out 4 or 5 meals we want that week.
I dunno, I’ve been paying $55/mo for FiOS internet-only for several years now. They’ve never once raised my price.
Some people use it that way. But you’ve been able to dump apps into folders and swipe down on the home screen to search for several versions now. The latest version allows you to remove apps from your home screen altogether.
Pretty much how I operate. One main home screen, a second one for other less used but still frequent apps, and the rest I just swipe down and start typing the name. No need to scroll through folders or screens.
It has allowed my wifi to reach the smart outlet on my outdoor Christmas lights. So that’s a big plus. The neighbors are far enough away that it wouldn’t reach them anyway.
I’ve had the entry level Vizio + subwoofer for about 5 years now. That thing sounds pretty excellent to me. The volume normalization feature is a lifesaver.

My city does paper tickets without an envelope. But it wouldn’t be difficult to scan one and change the text in Photoshop. Make it look official but when the bad parker reads it, it could say something like “learn to park, you stupid heathen.” And then have a fee of $0.
Does anyone have a suggestion for an app that might mimic this functionality? I have an Android tablet that I don’t really use and I’d love to mount it on the wall to use as a home control hub.
Never thought of doing that. I suppose carefully drilling a small hole in the plunger would work also, if yours doesn’t already have one. What would you say is the size of the hole? 1 MM?
I had one Echo and a Google Home, as I was deciding between the 2. I found the Echo to be far, far more capable than Google Home due to its Skills library and the ability to build routines. Also the Google Home kept crashing and rebooting when playing certain songs via Spotify (odd right?)

They connect with my PC, but only the right side plays audio. And I have to be within 2 feet of my computer or it’s out of range.
Seems like people have had very mixed results with pairing AirPods with Windows.
