Whew, thank goodness. I had to break out my work computer in the middle of a public place to see what was going on here, since GMG sites (particularly long-ish articles, or any time I attempt to read more than just the first comment) are an absolute fucking self-destruct mechanism to mobile devices.
The seats were reserved for crackers
I gave up on radar detectors a long time ago. They just give you a false sense of security. Most highway patrol types are using LIDAR or Instant on these days.
This is unsurprising. See these kinds of issues all the time with hardwired accessories. Dash cams, radar, rear seat entertainment, etc. Luckily not to the extent that it ruins a mirror. But causes all kinds of weird electrical gremlins. And usually the issue is they tapped into a circuit that just turned a test light…
I don’t think the “alleged” is necessary. They were wearing uniforms in marked cars, so it’s pretty confirmed.
Can you represent your disappointment graphically for us?
Hey no Changli, this list is incomplete
Now that you mention it, more bars should serve pie.
Completely disagree. I had to drive the wife’s car for a few days. Block after block of shifting up through the gears and down, never breaking 55 mph... I wanted to blow my brains out. Endless tedium. Sure, it's fun for 3.5 seconds on the highway and ope... there's the cops and I'm speeding.
I lean towards it being the Honda’s fault, but that’s not the most important point. The semi driver is either malicious or incompetent for not noticing the car and pulling over. I can understand something behind the trailer being hard to see, but that car is definitely visible in the mirror. Should lose his CDL.
I agree. This looks like Pepboys designed car lighting
Ah, the same bowl Mazda keeps its fucks about your wants in.
Chevy needs to make a truck based on the Spark.
It’s not remotely anecdotal. Multiple studies have shown that SUVs are more likely to flip, due to their height, and that you are more likely to die in a roll over accident.
that’s real? man, didn’t realize... I’m all about MT, but 7? sorry, fuck that.
I actually like the Corolla Cross. There’s something inherently cool about a vehicle that is unashamedly utilitarian and ‘fit for purpose’. It gets good gas mileage. It has room to haul things and a hatch. It’s a safe, and not unpleasant place to spend time. And it appeals to what daily drivers want - a slightly…
What an ugly little pug-faced thing.
does it squeak when cornered?
In fairness, a like-new C5 Corvette is not terribly uncommon and isn’t nearly as interesting as a unicorn, mint-condition Geo Metro. You take your Corvette to a cars & coffee, people would ignore it. Take that Geo to one? Conversations would be had.
