Of course they are killing the Fit. It’s a car that fills the needs of 94.3% of America so no one is buying it. As for getting rid of the Accord manual... Eff everyone who talks the talk but doesn’t buy manual transmissions.

Real life answer is if you need a new computer, buy one now. If you don’t need a new computer, wait until you do need one and then buy a new computer. Buying stuff now that you don’t need doesn’t make sense. If you do need it, it doesn’t make sense to wait.

Why did they have the “kick up” in the body line? Its not on the original, which isn’t obligatory, but I think its cleaner without. That being said, I haven’t seen a mock up without the kick up. It looks great as is, but I may have to PS this later. I only noticed how clean it looked on the four door, as the kick up

I was way too excited when I saw that pic on their site. Love steelies.

Uhm... He mentioned “back then” in reference to the late 60's.. You’re at least 2 decades late with your ‘82 Subie....

Never wore a seatbelt in the backseat of the car when growing up (70s), I remember I was laying down on the back seat when we hit a deer, I slammed against the front seats, looked around a bit, and just dusted myself off. The front end of that Dodge Valiant needed a bit more love, though. Still didn’t wear one after

Not every car is targeted to driving enthusiasts and has to have 500+ hp. The Crosstrek is one of them. Most buyers are happy with a car that is reliable, serviceable, and meets their transportation needs without asking too much in return.

Idk is it too much to ask to just be surprised for once?

2 spaces after a period are an act of war

solid option against an Audi A3 or Merc A class hatch but less brand cachet...

Had 4 manuals in a row, then my left knee shit the bed(the ghosts of youthful injuries revisited finally), I have found some automatics can be plenty fun, and the Mazda 6 speed automatic may not be as engaging as a manual it is quite responsive and well calibrated, this will be a way better pairing than a CVT WRX.

IMO Mazda is not going for these hot hatches with the 3 turbo. They’re going after the A class and A3 and such. A more value oriented premium non-German alternative. But that itself is a weird spot as the segment doesn’t see a lot of sales.

Like, fuck it, I’d think you'd be more “ready for a nap.”

I wonder if Trump will buy one, it will give Pompeo and McConnell a break.

89 Accord SE-R sedan (that’s a 4-door).

And I had hoped wearing a mask to prevent the spread of a f***ing deadly disease could be politics-free as well, but thanks to the aforementioned moron, here we are.

MODEL NUMBER DOES NOT MATCH DISPLACEMENT.

Thank you falcon.I’ll never look down my nose at you again

You seem to be one of the approximately 0.000000001% of people who comment on Unsafe At Any Speed and the Corvair who have actually read and comprehended it. Nice to see.

Nader’s book did not take down the Corvair - it went on to be one of the best selling cars in history. His point was that they DID have the suspension sorted and removed parts to save a few pennies. It was one of many examples in the book, which led to safety standards that have saved probably millions of lives.
