No, I was not alluding to drinking and driving. It is in fact absolutely true that traffic infractions without intoxication can lead to revocation of a green card. Most won’t, but . . . if you are arrested during the traffic stop, even if no charges end up being filed, that can be enough to show “moral turpitude”,

At the end of the day, the United States has borders and immigration laws, and somebody has to do the work of enforcing them. The people who the law has to be enforced upon sometimes have sad stories to tell. That’s unfortunate. It does not exempt them from the law.

Seems like progress towards a better experience of border crossing. The article mentions privacy though I don’t quite understand why privacy is expected when crossing the border. I also don’t understand this statement below.
