I'm asking what the particular show was that helped you in this instance. If you don't mind sharing. : )

Thanks!

Skippin' and a-jumpin'…

Where? Link?

These are fair points. Beauty is in the eye (and ear) of the beholder

Agreed. Younger, care-free days. Summer evening barbecues. Good times.

Who gives a shit about being cool. You're passionate about something. That's cool.

Did that bother you? (Genuine question)

I would supplement that with American Beauty and Workingman's Dead as the essentials, but your larger point is valid.

Well said.

Workingman's Dead and American beauty are both incredible albums, all-time greats. American Beauty, in particular, shows the Dead could be great songwriters, not merely spaced out hippies noodling for hours.

Favorite Dead Live recording: I've always adored Live/Dead, but I've recently been on a kick of late 70s shows. Dick's Picks Vol. 29 (Live At The Fox Theatre 5/19/77) and Vol. 25 (Live In Springfield, MA 5/10/78) come to mind.

What is this live show that cures panic attacks? I must know!

It mostly sucks. Mostly.

Princess Leia was a bad ass. I find her to be an incredible symbol of female empowerment anytime I watch the films. When Han, Luke, and Chewbacca break her out of prison, she subverts the "damsel in distress" by actively taking over the escape. Yes, as many people point out, she was chained to a fat slug and forced to

RIMSHOT

Yikes.

You get it.

And she made Tony brownies, or something. She was a sweet kid.

Well said. Never gets old.
