You see what I'm talking about to some extent. All these characters are very cliche .If you watch enough B.E.T movies or any show on Oprahs network you'd know the character of Jamal has been done to death as well as his entire family especially Hakeem. Granted it is only the pilot and they could evolve but I don't see

You see you get it , the side characters and guest characters get that storyline .But all gay characters in the main cast of show are pretty much playing the exact same character . It's very cliche .
The whole I'm prefect except people don't except my sexuality has been done to death .
As for the the whole white girl

In don't even know what a dvr is i got on demand tho lol

Latino is not a race . I'm pretty sure you can be white and Latino but I'm not sure .ethier way to oils it have killed them to have a gay black male with a black boyfriend ? It's like rare when it comes to black people on tv we can never be with our own race but you don't see that with white gay characters on their

Lmaaoo if empire get better I might consider it.

Empires not worth it yet .

So she's just a upset black woman ?

Exactly lol

Same time as blackish man . You gotta choose :/

Can you give me a example of those hardcore characters who turn out to be gay in a modern TV show ? They seem to be slipping my memory .Have you ever watched Modern family or glee ? The idea of a character being secure in the fact that they are gay is not refreshing by any means .It's actually the only way gay

Sigh .

So "d/l r&b singer" with the white boyfriend and black dad who was tough on him . is some how less typical then a gay rapper ? Had they made Hakeem a open gay rapper it would have been groundbreaking .But nope they make Jamal the "gay angel"

Jamal being gay bothered me more then it should have i'll admit . I just really wish they had choose Hakeem instead . It's just the whole the rapper one is Arrogant angry and straight , while the saint goody two shoes R&B singer is the gay one . It's just so stereotypical and played out . And they have Gabie playing

I share allot of thoughts with Dre ,so do allot black people . Im glad Bo is around to let us now when those thoughts are messed up lol

I think you're being unfair , yea maybe you don't relate to Dre but most black men do , He speaks and says and does allot of things we do and we get a perspective on T.V that we've never seen . Which is unfiltered,un-politically correct talk on race. He puts the Black in Blackish .

All hail Queen Bey

Wait are you talking about Beth ? XD.

Thats what i figured,When Dawn said "i knew you'd be back " You saw how pissed Beth looked , she may have died but she saved Noah once and for all .

HUH ?

I saw some body make a excellent Analysis of Dawn .
She was pretty much a slave master , she just saw people as things , as tools, to feed and grow her Plantation . Noah was her run away slave , and Beth sacrificed herself for his freedom .
