Thats a Unibody car with no B pillars. And heavy scissor doors. Wow that thing must have been flexy. Most suicide door cars have either a B pillar or are full frame.

Chrysler loved the Portofino so much that they actually restored it after it was wrecked in an accident in transit. Which is pretty unusual, most concept cars are just crushed when they’re not useful anymore.
Hey, they built one
I hear ya, but in that case your vote would probably be CP and the person who is into that sort of thing would be NP. Whevs ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I see what you’re getting at, but could we use a phrase other than "period porn"? I could have done without that visual.
We have to be roughly the same age as I totally got all of what you said. These were throw away cars with limited performance back then and compared with almost anything on the road today, a dinosaur. It’s a nice clean example and the price isn’t too off putting but no AC? did they upgrade (resto mod) the brakes? Get…
Yep, the Z’s had that goofy chin spoiler thing that went up the fenders. So I guess the guy actually found Z-28 fenders instead of just cutting a hole and putting the vent in it.
Even if you know nothing about a cars market value, if it’s been posted for more than 20 days it’s a good bet that it’s a crack pipe.
First off, Camaros are not bad ass, they are bitchin.
Bolted-on body work?!?
Chip. His name was Chip. I shouldn’t know this.
The market has spoken. He couldn’t find a buyer in a month. That doesn’t mean the “right” buyer wouldn’t be willing to pay this much, but it does indicate that it’s not “priced to sell.” The person looking to buy a 2nd-gen Camaro is a person who is perusing craigslist regularly. They’ve seen the ad. They did not…
I remember being very young riding a big wheel in the early 80s and looking at our neighbors and thinking how much of an ugly piece of shit this Camaro was when it was relatively new.
It’s a compelling package overall, but I need to see the minor rust. As David has pointed out, sellers and buyers tend to have very different definitions of “minor” when it comes to rust. Are we talking about something I can fix with a grinder and touch up paint or a trip to a body shop? CP because rust is the devil.
For some reason this reminded me of a Friends episode where Monica (or Rachel) met the hot guy from high school they used to crush on and went on a date.
I mean, take the title away from BMW if you want, but if you’re going to try and give it to Genesis because they sell one car with one manual variant on a turbo 4 engine, you really probably need to give the crown to Porsche instead.
Hey now! BMW makes great Trucks/SUVs/CUVs, you can even get them with M badging.
I really like this, but they only offer it on the base model. No sunroof or real leather seats with the manual.
Hot Take:
That’s my takeaway as well - if this was the same price as a standard Sky Redline, I might be willing to go NP based on the hilarity of it alone, but at nearly 3x of the going rate for a decent Sky, easy CP.
