Depending on the accuracy of the photo, looks like there will be an immense oil leak at the valve cover and timing chain case...

But honestly, all of the new turbo engines by Honda, from the base Civic to the NSX to the next RDX, have an “issue” with the studs on the cat either backing out of the head or snapping

Yea. It just feels like the suspension and ride groups are getting hosed by it. They do all their tests and find tires that perfectly match the characteristics of the vehicle, whether it’s grip/comfort/off-road traction/noise, then they (higher ups) end up going with Continentals anyway.

Exactly lol. They still test the development mules with everything from pirelli to michelins to goodys, but Continentals are coming back with the best rolling resistance lately.

I went to Honda’s own training program and am currently a technician at their research and development facility.

The Ford GT is epic. Just epic. We dropped the ball taking a decade to develop a car, and the looks are almost stale by comparison to the GT.

And no, production will start in spring and I think I’ve been hearing early 2017 delivery.

Believe me, I’m in the same boat with you here. But, it is actually finished now. We just completed “Track Mode” heat resistance/durability testing 2 weeks ago, which is the first time any Honda product had a Track Mode test.
