I’ve been saying this exact same thing for years. That badge/logo is pure garbage, and every time I see it, I’m reminded of Kia’s beginnings as a purveyor of shitboxes.

I like the direction they are going but at the end of the day, I can’t shake the “it’s a Kia” feeling. If they maybe updated the logo, which harkens back to when they were plain as can be, to the point of invisible, it would engage with buyers more.  Brand image is an important thing.

They missed a golden opportunity to put a massive grille on the front. Normally, I'd buy it, but... without a grill that extends from the headlights to the ground, and all the way back... I just can't do it.
